Join us and Master photographer Jani Lakato this coming April 25-27 for a 3 day , 2 night ‘Mentor Series’ weekend at the idyllic St. Eugene Resort in Cranbrook British Columbia. Aside from getting away with some amazing people who share your passion for photography, you’ll get 10 hours of amazing mentoring in one of Jani’s specialities: Flash Photography. Jani has funneled his life experiences in dance & choreography into being able to create magical imagery using Flash and his teaching style is engaging towards helping make the complex more simple for his students. Q & A:
Q: Do i need any flash experience? A: No. This workshop will take you from complete beginner into more advanced techniques.
Q: Do I need to be an expert with my camera? A. No. We do recommend that attendees have a basic operating knowledge of their cameras in Aperture, Shutter and Manual Modes but you don’t need to be a pro. Past some basic knowledge all skill levels are welcome.

Q: What fitness level do I need to be at? Are there any accessibility restraints? A: This workshop is accessible and will not involve any scheduled long or strenuous hikes. What you choose to do in this beautiful region in your free time is up to you.
Q: How do i get to Cranbrook? A: Option 1: Cranbrook does have a Regional Airport you can fly into from Vancouver International Airport. We’ll arrange to pick you up when you arrive. Option 2: Drive. Cranbrook is a 4 hour drive from Calgary, 7 hour drive from Seattle, 9 hour drive from Vancouver or Boise Idaho. Option 3: Catch the “Free LPC Bus” in Calgary at 9 am on Friday April 25 as we make the 4 hour drive along the stunning Cowboy Trail to Cranbrook (with a few photo stops along the way!)
