People Photography

Learn Photography Canada is proud to re-launch our new and improved PEOPLE PHOTOGRAPHY course! When most of our people shots are taken on smart phones for Facebook, have we lost the art of taking high quality people photographs? Our staff debated what it means to teach people photography in our current context. How does an amazing cover photo for PEOPLE or TIME magazine differ from a quick snap in Instagram with an applied filter? How were we going to teach that to our students?

Answer? Go back to the basics. People photography is all about capturing the soul and emotion of a person, and those special moments in time. Our people photography course teaches students how to evaluate the moment and understand what it takes to make it special.
